Documents

This page provides access to the formal instruments and regulatory framework that govern the management, decision-making processes, and operational integrity of the International Science and Technology Consortium (Sci&Tech).

Statutory Framework

  • Statutes of the Consortium (Version 4.0): The primary governing document of the organization. It defines the legal status of the Consortium as a Swiss Association (Verein) under Articles 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code. The Statutes outline the distribution of power between the General Assembly, the Executive Board, and the Head Organization.
  • General Charter: This document serves as the ideological and strategic foundation for the Consortium’s management. It defines the core values, long-term vision, and the “Society 5.0” philosophy that guides all executive decisions.

Management & Operational Regulations

  • Executive Board Bylaws: Internal regulations approved by the Executive Board to govern the establishment and management of specialized structures, such as research centers, technoparks, and regional hubs.
  • Membership Policy: A regulatory document detailing the administrative procedures for the admission of new members, rights of participation in the General Assembly, and the criteria for internal review by the Executive Board.
  • Internal Governance Guidelines: Specific rules regarding the “Reserved Matters” where the Head Organization exercises its right of veto, ensuring institutional stability and adherence to the mission.

Ethical & Professional Standards

  • Code of Ethics: A binding document that establishes the ethical standards, rules of conduct, and integrity principles for all members and management bodies. It ensures that the Consortium’s administration remains transparent and accountable.
  • Intellectual Property (IP) Policy: Regulations governing how the Consortium manages, recognizes, and protects IP rights within its network, including the “Founder Friendly” approach for student-led initiatives.
  • Appeals & Dispute Resolution Procedure: The framework for resolving internal disagreements through direct negotiations or the internal Appeals Committee, as mandated by the Statutes.
