The mission of the International Science and Technology Consortium (Sci&Tech) is to develop and support a global, decentralized framework that facilitates cooperation between science, education, and high‑technology businesses. This collaborative ecosystem aims to foster innovation, drive technological advancement, and create significant societal benefits.

Four strategic objectives, one mission.
The Statutes translate the mission into four objectives. Each is a lens on the same work: institutions share resources, scientists pursue DeepTech, educators build practice‑oriented programmes, and the Consortium writes down the standards that let the other three trust each other. Bringing together leading universities, research centers, and technology organizations into a collaborative network for the sharing of resources, information, and expertise.

What the Consortium may do.
The object of activity is deliberately broad: educational, scientific, technological or advisory, as long as it serves the objectives above. Ten fields of activity are named in the Statutes.

Promoting collaboration, information exchange, and best practices among educational and research institutions and technology organizations.

Developing, supporting, and disseminating educational and research programs, projects, and initiatives.
- 8.3
Facilitating cooperation and coordination concerning qualifications, learning outcomes, and professional development within the Consortium’s network.

Developing and offering education and training programs, including internal certificates, micro‑credentials, or other forms of recognition of learning outcomes.

Organizing events, workshops, conferences, and other forums to share knowledge and foster collaboration.

Publishing, documenting, and communicating research findings, reports, or other educational materials.

Supporting or participating in research and development, innovation projects, and technological initiatives.

Managing funds, grants, and other resources in support of the Consortium’s objectives.

Providing advisory, consulting, or guidance services in the fields of education, science, and technology.

Society 5.0 · University 5.0
Why a new kind of consortium.
The founders start from a diagnosis set out in the preamble of the Statutes: the world economy is moving toward Society 5.0, in which digitalisation, artificial intelligence and biotechnology are central to sustainable development, and traditional models of higher education and research, when insufficiently integrated with the real economy, require a substantial transformation toward personalisation, practice‑oriented learning and continuous innovation.
Two consequences follow. First, quality assurance, accreditation and recognition of qualifications need independent, transnational institutions that operate to internationally recognised standards rather than to any single national system. Second, academic knowledge, technological entrepreneurship and capital have to be brought into one flexible global ecosystem to address grand challenges.
The Consortium is the organisational form of that answer: a Swiss non‑profit association (Verein under Articles 60 ff. of the Civil Code), registered in Geneva, with the International Science and Technology University (ISTU, Poland) as its Head Organization and an open membership of universities, research institutes and technology companies.
