The International Science and Technology Consortium (Sci&Tech) is dedicated to transforming traditional higher education into a flexible, transnational ecosystem. Our educational framework is built for the transition to Society 5.0, prioritizing personalization, practical application, and continuous innovation.
Educational Model
We implement the University 5.0 model, a conceptual approach that integrates physical and digital learning environments to create societal value through innovation.
- Practice-Oriented Learning: Educational programs include practical, work-based training conducted at partner or affiliated facilities.
- Dual Education: We combine theoretical instruction from educational institutions with hands-on training within partner organizations.
- Project-Based Learning (PBL): Students are assessed primarily through the evaluation of practical projects and prototypes, reflecting real-world applied skills.
- Entrepreneurship: Students are encouraged to develop startup initiatives as part of their learning outcomes, supported by our infrastructure and mentorship.
Recognition and Mobility
To facilitate global academic mobility, the Consortium utilizes a specialized internal system for documenting and recognizing achievements:
- ISTC (International Science and Technology Credits): An internal credit unit system designed to ensure the comparability of learning achievements across different jurisdictions and frameworks.
- Micro-credentials: We issue digitally documented certifications for specific skills or competencies, which can be accumulated or combined.
- Mutual Recognition: Members of the Consortium agree on procedures for the mutual recognition of study periods and internal qualifications to supplement national systems.
EdTech and Digital Transformation
The Consortium leverages cutting-edge technology to enhance the learning experience:
- AI-Enhanced Learning: Artificial Intelligence and digital tools are used to personalize tutoring, improve administration, and support student progress.
- Secure Records: Learning records and achievements are maintained using digital or distributed ledger technologies to ensure traceability, security, and permanent archiving.
- EdTech Integration: Our programs utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS), Virtual/Augmented Reality (VR/AR), and gamification to improve educational delivery.
Quality and Standards
The Consortium acts as an independent transnational body for quality assurance. We develop and disseminate international standards for education quality and professional qualifications, ensuring that our members operate at the forefront of global best practices.
